Our day programs are committed to advancing care, creating opportunities for socialization and interaction, and promoting the autonomy of the IDD community.
When PASS began its journey in 1997, countless individuals faced an overwhelming wait, with service lists stretching long into the future. Many on our side of the DD spectrum were left with the daunting possibility of waiting up to 25 years for their names to be called. It was with deep compassion and a commitment to change that PASS was established, and we proudly launched our Day Program on January 19, 1998, eager to support those who had been waiting for so long.
This was the beginning of our adventure.
Today
PASS supports individuals with developmental disabilities in the community and at locations in Portland and Milwaukie. PASS proudly hosts the PDX and Topaz programs, with the PDX branch effectively serving nearly 50 clients. Additionally, the PASS 3, also known as the Topaz branch, confidently caters to around 30 clients, while the Milwaukie location also provides exceptional service to about 30 clients.

In-Center Activities
At PASS, we provide a variety of in-center activities for our individuals to participate in, both 1:1 with a staff member, or in a group. From skill-building to entertainment, and everything in between.
Community Activities
We love getting out into the community! We have many different community inclusion choices, and support our clients to in traveling to both places they already enjoy going, and new ones!
